God told us to buy a bus! (Part 3)

Let life surprise you

One thing that I have learned in my 26 years of living is that God has a greater and more amazing plan than you could have even imagined for yourself. Things have never worked out exactly how I imagined they would but somehow no matter the circumstance they have ALWAYS worked out for the best! God works in mysterious ways and I strongly believe that everything that we get to go through in this life will bring us to where we need to be and help us to become who we need to become as an individual. God is absolutely amazing and if He created EVERYTHING why couldn't He guide you to where you need to be in life and help you to become who you need to be? I know that He does do this and is leading each and every single one of us to something better, greater and perfect for us. Like how I have said before trust Him and the process.

Before I continue on with our story if you haven't read God told us to buy a bus! (Part 1) and God told us to buy a bus! (Part 2) of our story. Click on the links and go get caught up with how God told us to buy a bus! Everything that we have shared has led us to exactly where we are in life and I know that we are where we need to be. We wouldn't have it any other way. We needed to learn certain lessons through certain struggles. God knows how we need to progress and this life is all about progression. Things happen for a reason.

Carrying on with our story! The right job and opportunity had FINALLY presented itself. We didn't know exactly what was coming but God did. We had the faith that something great was coming. I mean with everything not working out something AMAZING HAD TO BE COMING RIGHT?! How much longer could we continue on? How much more faith could we have? We just had to trust Him and sure enough He ALWAYS knows what is best. This job has been a HUGE blessing for our little family and has gotten us back on our feet. Are we making lots of money yet? Nope but we are blessed to be able to have more than enough. All our needs our being met. We are realizing how little we need to have to thrive, be happy, and feel grateful.

Like I said in our last blog post we somehow managed to pay for rent and EVERYTHING that upcoming month. It was truly a miracle! God is so wonderful! Zack has been commuting from the valley and back for a few weeks now. Soon after he started working at Mechanic Auto he knew that he didn't want to do the drive much longer. When he would head home the 347 was awful. One day he said to me that we need to move to the valley. I knew he was right since I could feel our time in Maricopa coming to an end but we just didn't know how we were going to make it work since rent and housing is SO MUCH more expensive there. We said a prayer and we had a name come to our mind instantly. This name is someone who I love dearly from my mission.(For those that don't know I served my LDS mission in Arizona!) In fact the whole family is some of my favorite people. I messaged the person's granddaughter who is like a little sister to me and asked her if her grandma was still renting out her place. She said yes and said that she definitely would love for you guys to have it without talking to her grandma. Lol Soon after we made a visit to our possible new home and things JUST FELT RIGHT. Again our housing had fallen perfectly into our laps and we knew this was God saying it's time to move on with our lives. God once again had provided an income, a home to live at while we build our bus(We are saving hundreds here as well! AMAZING!) and of course our answer for change came. Keep reading to see how we got it. This past year we have literally seen miracles after miracles! God is so wonderful and so mindful of all His children. I cannot get over how GOOD He really is!

The best things in life aren't things.

Back in February before we knew that we needed to buy a bus and when all hope was lost. One night I had enough! For months I had been having feelings of us needing to get rid of most everything that we owned!! I was tired of having absolute no control over ANYTHING in our life during that time. I went into our closet and starting grabbing things that I haven't worn in months, things that we never used and things that weren't bringing us any happiness and I threw all those things into a BIG pile on our floor in our room. The next day I went and found more things that we didn't need and threw it in that pile. Over the weeks that pile got bigger and BIGGER. I started posting things to sell, donate and got rid of the other stuff that we didn't need. THIS IS EXACTLY what I needed to do at that time. I had power over my life again. It felt SO GOOD to be able to control something in my life and clean up my life in a sense. I was tired of holding onto junk in my life. I was tired of not moving forward or not using everything that God had blessed our family with. I needed change. We all did.

It's always been so hard for me to get rid of stuff. I want to hold onto everything! Everything has a memory, a meaning or been a gift. Also I hate for anything to go to waste! I have always felt the need to home everything in the past. Whenever someone gives something away for free I would take it without hesitation. YES things are nice to have but do you need those things to be happy? It's a good question, right? I will say that journals, photographs and certain things that been given to us by certain people we will never get rid of. We are realizing though how little we need to live to be happy. I am a Photographer so photographs are how I preserve most of our memories. Modern techonogly is a blessing cause thousands and thousands of photos are all saved for me to use with them whenever I desire. One thing that Zack and I are trying to implement into our life is to do more traveling with our family and make more memories instead of collecting things that we do not need to waste our money on. Of course we will still buy stuff here and there but buying stuff isn't needed to be happy. As long as we have enough money to pay for our needs than we are beyond blessed.

And then all of the sudden it ALL MADE SENSE..

There was a reason why Heavenly Father was trying to teach us to be simple and live with a minimalist mindset for months. He was preparing us for our biggest adventure yet. Of course we had no idea at the time what we were being prepared for but one night it all made sense.

It is the end of February 2019 and we had been praying and fasting for months for answers and direction. Our answer came one night when we were saying a prayer together. It didn't come in a big or fancy way. It was quiet and still. It came and we did not see it coming. During the prayer I had a thought come to my mind that said "Buy a bus!" It was so random but so divine. I knew exactly what this thought meant. After the prayer I told Zack that we should buy a bus. He looked at me and said what? I said I knew it sounded crazy but God just told me that we should buy a bus. After I said that I started to have SO MANY ideas come to my mind. Ideas that weren't even mine. I shared these ideas with Zack and everything was starting to make sense and felt SO GOOD to us. I then started to remember people that I have seen on Instagram that were doing the same thing. To be honest I never thought much of it cause how could we afford to live that way? How could we make it work? I pulled up those accounts and we started to follow them and others. Our dream to live and travel in a bus was born!

For the following weeks every night before we would go to bed we would talk about living in a bus and all the wonderful adventures we would go on. We knew that faith without action is dead so we started to do our part so God could give us more direction and light. We would watch Youtube videos, follow skoolie accounts on Instagram, look at buses and we even created a blue print of our home right away. We had no idea how this would come to pass. We had no idea where we would get the money. Heck, we didn't even know how we were going to pay for rent and utilities for the month of March. We just knew that it would all work out in God's timing. We did realize right away that this lifestyle was exactly what we were looking for and we held onto that. We will be able to control our expenses. Live debt free. Live simple. Be homeowners without paying a mortgage. Be completely sustainable. Be able to spend all day and everyday with each other. Travel and be educated. Meet people and serve them and the list goes on and on. Everything that we have ever needed or could even dream about was pointing us to this...the Skoolie lifestyle! It all FINALLY made sense.

God has a purpose for your pain, a reason for your

struggles, and a reward for your faithfulness.

This felt so good to us but we didn't know how it was going to work out. We continued to pray about it and God said again that we needed to buy a bus! We are now looking online for buses to buy and trying to figure out where we are going to get the money. Thanks to our tax refunds the money showed up and the right bus showed up. We went to check it out with cash on us. We told God that this was what we were willing to pay for it and if it was meant to be that the bus owner would accept our offer. He did accept our offer. We got the bus for an amazing deal! But right before we bought it we had to figure out a place to park it... now this was the real test of our faith. If we were meant to buy the bus and especially now we needed to have this important key. Zack's aunt popped into our mind. We gave her a call and she was shocked that we were going to buy a bus but she said yes you can park it at our place. Well that was another confirmation from God to move forward so we bought our Blazing Beatrice on April 2nd 2019.

That weekend we watched General Conference from our church, The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. That is where we get to hear from the Lord through His prophet and apostles. This happens twice a year every 6 months. This is something that I have always looked forward to and I can't wait to receive more inspiration and direction in my personal and our little family's life. During conference we felt strongly that we bought the bus to focus on serving others and sharing God's light and goodness with others to help build up Zion.

Ever since we have felt this way we have been praying to know how the Lord needs us to go about with this. Also in February when we were struggling one day I had an overwhelming feeling come over me that our family needed to focus on serving others. And I received some insight on how we need to go about with this. A few weeks ago on our recent trip to Utah on our way home I had a few ideas that came to my mind. These ideas definitely were inspired and came from God. We now have more insight to why we bought a bus and why God needs us to do this. We still aren't sure of the time when all this things will come to pass but we feel it will be sooner than later. We are so pumped to know all the details to why God needs us to do this. It all has to do with serving others and sharing God's light. I wish that we could say more about what it is exactly but I feel strongly that we cannot share what it is yet for whatever reasons. We wish that we could tell you guys all about it since we are SO STINKING EXCITED but the time will come one of these days to share it.

You may not always end up where you thought you were going.

But you will ALWAYS end up where you are meant to be.

Our story has been a crazy one and we didn't see it coming. When we got married almost 3 years ago we never imagined being where we are right now in life. To be honest it has been incredibly hard. This past year has been our hardest year yet and we haven't even shared all of the trials we've endured. One day I do think that Zack and I need to share more about our story but right now we know that this part is SO important to share with you guys. We feel strongly that we needed to share this with you all to give others hope and remind them how AMAZING God really is. Also that gratitude is key. That we CAN be grateful in our hardships and God wants us to have faith in the future. He needs us to trust Him and the process. Life is hard but God knows what He is doing. Keep the faith and keep keeping on. Also please ALWAYS BE KIND. EVERYONE IS FIGHTING INNER DEMONS! But just remember no matter how hard it gets you have angels around you lifting you up and cheering you on. And most importantly Christ is on your side.

Where all else fails, God doesn't.

All our love,

The Webster Clan! <3
